(Annajm) 53 : 26
How many Angels are there in the heavens? Their intercessions don’t benefit them in any way except after Allah gives Permission for the one whom He intends, and whom He pleases.
Since the Angels do not know the unseen things, they do not know for whom they should intercede. That means the Three-Time Knower Lord Allah should permit them for intercession in favour of whom He intends and pleases. Adhikr, which is mentioned as ‘Unseen’ in verse 2: 3 and ‘Permission of Allah’ mentioned in verses 2: 255, 10: 100, and 22: 65, intercedes and makes others intercede. The forerunners who will enter Paradise even without trial can intercede for the weakling disbelievers as explained in verse 10: 26. See explanation 40: 7-10; 43: 86; and 47: 24.
